Wood

Our wood meets the strictest requirements for strength and stability, making it an ideal material for manufacturing high-quality wood-aluminum and wooden windows.

Our wood meets the strictest requirements for strength and stability, making it an ideal material for manufacturing high-quality wood-aluminum and wooden windows. Thanks to radial lamellas and multi-layer glued laminated timber, it offers excellent dimensional stability, aesthetics, and insulation properties. We use wood species that ensure energy efficiency and durability for your windows.

Our premium A500+ wood meets the highest strength and stability standards, is defect-free, and complies with STN 74 61-01-2 and STN EN 942 standards. The primary structural material for wooden window production is multi-layer glued laminated timber, whose finger-jointed construction ensures uniform quality and precisionalong its entire length.

To maintain dimensional stability, we use top layers made of radial wood, which provides outstanding stability, durability, and an elegant appearance. The parallel and longitudinal orientation of the growth rings guarantees maximum strength, while wood without dark fibers offers a clean and uniform surface, ideal for high-end projects. We ensure that our wood has an optimal moisture content of 12% ± 3%, minimizing the risk of deformation.

Energy-Efficient Wood Selection

For energy-efficient windows, selecting wood species with a density of approximately 350-480 kg/m³ is crucial. We use soft and medium-hardwood species such as spruce, larch, and Meranti.

  • Meranti, with a light red heartwood and a dry density of 385-480 kg/m³, provides an ideal balance of lightness and hardness.
  • Oak, on the other hand, with a density exceeding 520 kg/m³, is not suitable for energy-efficient windowsbecause its high thermal conductivity would negatively impact the insulation properties of the window.
