MINTAL Tilt-and-Slide Patio Door (PSK)

Large-area sashes of sliding elements that connect living rooms with the exterior are a trend in contemporary modern architecture. They bring more freedom, comfort, and light, which, however, is associated with a higher weight of the sliding sashes. Because our engineers could not defy gravity, they made a large number of innovations to achieve the goal of the Portal program: Heavy becomes light. This resulted in the innovated, extraordinarily easy-to-operate fitting called Portal PSKPLUS, which brings the optical lightness of large-area glazed elements combined with effortless operation. Easy operation of large-area glazed elements means a big plus for higher living comfort: New carriages and smaller rails enable the use of narrower profiles, which increases room illumination, optimizes material consumption, and reduces the threshold height.
