This allows us to produce stable and high-quality products during all four seasons.
3. Safe Glass Surfaces with 4BIRD®Etch Technology
Modern architecture uses large glazed areas, which, however, pose a risk to birds. More than a billion birds die annually from collisions with glass, mainly due to the reflection and transparency of glass surfaces. 4BIRD®Etch technology uses finely etched patterns on glass that are almost invisible to the human eye but clearly visible to birds. They significantly reduce the risk of collisions while maintaining the clean appearance of the architecture. The solution also includes COOL-LITE® coatings, which provide sun protection, thermal comfort, and high energy efficiency. The result is safe, functional, and aesthetically balanced glazing.
