Dream House
For the Dream Home project, the architects sought a way to perfectly connect the interior with the exterior and create a seamless transition to the surrounding forest. Their goal was to find windows that would be almost invisible yet exceptionally functional. We are proud that we can meet even the most demanding requirements, which is why the architects chose quality from MINTAL. Our exclusive wood-aluminum HS Panorama system, custom-made, meets the highest standards and is an ideal choice for anyone looking for exceptional solutions.
When working on the Dream House project, the architects were looking for the best way to connect the interior with the exterior and create a seamless transition into the surrounding forest. Their goal was to find windows that could be integrated into the structure in a way that made them almost invisible, while still providing high functionality. After careful consideration, they decided on the quality they found only at MINTAL.
For this project, they chose the exclusive wood-aluminum HS Panorama sliding system, made of finger-jointed spruce wood in the highest standard 500 + ACBB. The wood surface was toned according to precise requirements, with an individually mixed shade that harmoniously matches the other elements of the house.
The architects selected the exterior ALU-aluminum finish in a special structured metallic color with a deep matte finish, which ensures not only an aesthetic appearance but also excellent thermal insulation properties (Uf - 0.80 W/m²K). Insulated ESG tempered glass with a Ug parameter of 0.5 W/m²K and an overall window U-value of Uw 0.65 W/m²K was used as the frame infill. The jumbo glazing was carried out using robotic technology, and the installation was performed with a pre-mounted system.
The minimalist design was further enhanced by concealed hardware and sliding elements with barrier-free access, thanks to the mechanism from Siegenia. The reduction of frame areas emphasized the feeling of connection with nature and the surrounding landscape, allowing the architects to achieve exactly what they envisioned – a true "Dream Home."
