Even the highest quality window can lose its properties if it is not installed correctly. That is why we consider installation to be as important a part of the solution as the window itself. In practice, a large part of the window's functionality depends on how it is installed in the building. Proper installation ensures thermal insulation, protects the structure from moisture, eliminates thermal bridges, and significantly affects living comfort and window lifespan.

We carry out the installation with our own MINTAL installation team, which works according to proven technical procedures and system solutions. We do not install windows according to habit, but based on current knowledge in construction and many years of experience from implementations. That is why we have abandoned outdated installation procedures based only on mechanical anchoring and the use of PUR foam, which today do not lead to a long-term functional result.

With an improperly designed connection joint, moisture from both the interior and exterior penetrates into the insulation layer. The result is a reduction in thermal insulation properties, the formation of thermal bridges, condensation on the reveals, and in extreme cases, mold growth. We therefore design and carry out the installation so that the connection joint is protected, functional, and stable in the long term.

Every project at our company begins with expert technical advice. We work with project documentation and address installation details in the context of the entire building in cooperation with the architect, designer, and builder. This allows us to choose the optimal installation method for a specific type of building, whether it is a new construction, renovation, or energy-efficient house.

For more demanding solutions, such as oversized glazing or technically complex installations, we have the necessary know-how and technical equipment for safe and precise handling. The installation is always planned to proceed smoothly, without improvisation, and without unnecessary risk of damage to the window or the building.

The result is an installation that is not a weak point of the entire solution, but its full-fledged part. MINTAL windows are installed so that they retain their thermal insulation properties, airtightness, and functionality even after years of use, exactly as they were designed.
